Essays with a point of view
A specific argument about technology, world affairs, Bali, or the work of making things. A paragraph is enough to start.
Corrections and pushback
If something published here is wrong, unclear, or worth arguing with, send a note. Precision is a form of generosity.
Unlikely collaborations
A conversation, a print object, a reading list, a small experiment. If it makes the journal stranger in a good way, it is worth hearing about.

Can I suggest a topic or send a correction?+

Yes. Topic suggestions, corrections, and pushback are welcome. Corrections are applied to the page itself; if a change alters the substance of a piece, the page notes it.

How often is new work published?+

New pieces are added when they are ready. There is no fixed schedule. RSS and the newsletter are the best ways to see what is new.

Can I republish an essay?+

Ask first. Excerpts, translations, and classroom use are considered case by case. Include the essay title and where it would appear.

Do you accept guest posts or PR pitches?+

No PR pitches, guest-post link schemes, or SEO requests. This is a journal, not a content mill.
